Dental implants, oral rehabilitation and dental aesthetics in Barcelona
Wafaa Ouazzani Touhami

I was born in Casablanca (Morocco) and I currently live and practise in Barcelona.
I hold a degree in Dentistry from the University of Barcelona (2001), and early on I began my path in advanced implantology and complex oral rehabilitation.
My main credentials include:
- Diploma in Implant Dentistry. University of Gothenburg, Sweden (2002).
- Diploma in Clinical Periodontology. University of Gothenburg (2003).
- Diploma in Dental Aesthetics (2011).
- Specialised in Immediate Loading protocols since 2003. Extensive experience with the All-on-4 technique.
- Multidisciplinary treatments; complex case resolution.
- Specialties: Implants, Prosthodontics and Aesthetics.
- Founding member of SEOMI.
- Co-author of national and international scientific articles.
Professional background
Between 1998 and 2014 I worked in private, exclusive practice with Dr Aparicio in Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation at Clínica Aparicio, building high-level experience in complex surgical cases. I worked with advanced technology, 3D imaging, digital planning and a multidisciplinary team prepared for complex cases.
I was also Coordinator and Lecturer for the Diploma in Implant Dentistry (University of Gothenburg – Clínica Aparicio).
I currently collaborate with several clinics in Catalonia.
Teaching and training delivered
I have been a speaker and instructor on specialised courses and programmes, including hands-on training in advanced implantology. Notably, the course ‘Basic Surgical and Prosthetic Procedures for Immediate Loading in Fully Edentulous Patients’, held in Madrid in 2017, covered:
